Compact Process Controller

To enhance clarity, extensive process engineering processes are often segmented into smaller sub-processes. This facilitates the sequential commissioning of production facilities and streamlines troubleshooting when issues arise. Each sub-process is set up independently, allowing numerous experiments to be conducted individually. However, due to the modular design with experimental plates, these sub-processes can be seamlessly combined. Incorporating additional electronic transfer elements (from E6.3.4) introduces further dead times and time constants, significantly impacting the overall process behavior. Technical processes, based on experimental plates, can be adapted to suit any practical control engineering challenge. Experiments using experimental panels serve as a cost-effective alternative to large-scale control engineering models. These experiments align consistently with the Profi-CASSY interface and, when paired with the WinFACT analysis and simulation software, allow immediate comparison with suitable computer simulations, providing deep insights into the real process behavior.
