Job Summary

The Senior Digital Community Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns that drive audience growth, engagement, and conversion across Next Media’s brands and NEXTCom client accounts.

The role owns performance marketing, SEO, traffic acquisition, and digital optimization, working closely with creative, community, influencer, and commercial teams to deliver measurable results.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • 1. Digital Campaign Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies for brands and clients.
    • Translate business and marketing objectives into digital campaigns.
    • Own campaign calendars and execution plans.
  • 2. Performance Marketing & Acquisition
    • Manage paid media across Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
    • Optimize campaigns for CPA, CTR, and conversions.
    • Drive AfroMobile user acquisition and website traffic growth.
  • 3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Web Growth
    • Develop and implement SEO strategies.
    • Conduct keyword research and technical SEO audits.
    • Improve organic search rankings and website performance.
  • 4. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
    • Track performance using analytics tools.
    • Develop dashboards and reports.
    • Provide insights and optimization recommendations.
  • 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with creative, content, community, and influencer teams.
    • Support Business Digital Manager and Digital Business Strategist with proposals and pitches.
  • 6. Team Support & Mentorship
    • Guide junior digital marketers and community managers.
    • Share best practices and training.

Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience in agency or media environment preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience with paid media, SEO, and analytics.
