Job Summary
The Offline Acquisition Agent will be responsible for acquiring new customers through field-based activities, direct engagement, and offline marketing initiatives. The role focuses on lead generation, customer onboarding, brand promotion, and expanding the organization’s customer base. This position is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional with strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with vendors in major markets, targeting high-potential sellers for the platform.
- Get quality leads by better targeting in terms of category and areas to focus in order to get high seller lifecycle value
- Validate vendor suitability by assessing their products and business readiness.
- Persuade vendors to join Jumia by highlighting the platform’s value and sales potential.
- Guide vendors through the registration process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Provide new sellers with the tools, resources, and support to succeed from day one.
- Incubate the (lead to live) vendors for 1 month after live to make sure they are engaged properly. Making sure that vendors are properly trained and able to self sustain post incubation period.
- Collect insights on market trends and vendor concerns to improve acquisition strategies.
- Regularly report on acquisition progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize the cost/ active seller per channel
