Job Summary
RamcoGas Uganda is currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Stores & InventoryController to manage the efficient flow of stock, assets, and inventory across various branches in Uganda.The role involves overseeing stock arrivals, conducting regular inventory checks, and ensuring accuraterecords in the Cylinder management system. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintainingoptimal stock levels, preventing stockouts, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Stock Management:
- Receive, check, and examine incoming stock at the warehouse and LPG storage depot.
- Cross-reference received goods against invoices to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Regularly visit and check stock levels in all branches to prevent delays in deliveries and maintain operational efficiency.
Cylinder Management:
- Accurately populate the Cylinder management system with refilling data and track cylinder movements.
- Ensure the timely replenishment of cylinders to prevent stockouts.
- Oversee the daily dispatches of cylinders and other stock/assets following established procedures.
Asset Management:
- Collect company assets, including but not limited to cylinders, from customers during visits.
- Ensure all company assets are kept in good condition, safely stored, and securely locked.
- Implement and enforce approval processes to prevent unauthorized stock issuances.

Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transactions, and inventory movements.
- Generate regular reports on stock status, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to management as required.
Educational Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory control and stock management.
- Familiarity with Cylinder management systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with different branches and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
