Since 2015 we have provided climate insurance to 15.4 million smallholder farmers, 41% of which were women across 19 markets in Africa and Asia who pay an average of $6.8 per season to insure their crops. So far we’ve unlocked over $2.22 billion of capital from local and international insurance markets for climate risks since we started in 2015 and paid out $40.8 million to our client farmers.

Job Summary
Working under the guidance of the Field Associate Manager and Project Managers, Field Coordinators are crucial for overseeing the activities of Field Agents/Enumerators. They ensure data collection quality, adherence to guidelines, and smooth field operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Field Agents/Enumerators.
- Ensure Field Agents understand and adhere to data collection protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor data collection processes.
- Provide on-site training and support to Field Agents.
- Review completed questionnaires for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure timely submission of all completed questionnaires.
- Address any issues or challenges faced by Field Agents in the field.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the Field Associate Manager and Field Coordinator.
- Prepare regular reports on field activities and data collection progress.
- Ensure all data collection equipment is well-maintained and functional.
- Promote and uphold Pula’s values and mission in all field activities.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Field Associate Manager.
Educational Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required
- Diploma/Certificate in Business, Development Studies, Economics, Agriculture or any other related field.
- MUST HAVE A SMARTPHONE
- With Android version 7 and above plus access to Google Play Store.
- Good internet access, enough storage space and should be GPS enabled.
- Experience in data collection and working with farmers in rural settings is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in local languages spoken in the district.
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
